Consoles and stands by TV & Communication Systems

There are companies, manufacturing high-quality studio furniture that is very popular on the post-Soviet market. TV & Communication Systems is one of these companies. Its headquarters is located in bases in a Lithuanian town Shaulyay. In the SSSR this company was one of main suppliers of studio furniture for TV companies in various Soviet cities: from Lvov to Vladivostok. With appearance of foreign manufactures of similar products on the Russian market, TV & Communication Systems has managed to remain its position, and today the company offers to its customers a wide range of video consoles and stands.

The system steadiness and rigidity is provided by welded metallic carcass, covered with panels that make the whole complex look good.

Stands and racks are built in accordance with section type, which allows their configuring by different variants. Furniture manufacturing by custom order is available for especially complex and nonstandard areas.

Monitor rack-stand with oblique or straight upper row is one of most popular products. Bottom pert of the rack may contain equipment of 19" width, and also stands and boxes for instruments and other accessories. Stands are trimmed by plywood covered with veneer sheet of various textures.

Control panels and operator consoles have simple ergonomic design with consideration of all man's anatomic peculiarities. They are designed basing on experience accumulated during long manufacturing such products and also on consultations with leading specialists of various TV centers and video playback studios. Oblique front part of the consoles employ 19" punched profiles for fastening various recording, playback, and control-measuring equipment. If there is a necessity to install equipment with no 19" fastening (e.g. computer monitor), punched profile may be replaced with shelf. Backside of the console, serving a deck for equipment, closes by special removable flaps, preventing both connector panels from accidental mechanical effect and equipment from dust and other hazards. At that removable flaps do not prevent personnel from accessing cables and connections, and also do not worsen cooling condition of equipment.

Beside standard oblique section, control panel and consoles may be completed with stand-racks for video tape recorders and monitors, and also with additional enlarged monitor stand. The console's bottom part, located under the countertop, may be equipped with one or several shelves for such equipment as computer system unit, edit controller, etc. Besides, there are variants when punched profiles for standard 19" equipment are installed in the bottom deck of the console.

For small compact areas the company has developed special control panel with enlarged countertop area for three monitors.
