This phrase usually evokes ideas about complex technical decisions, interaction of equipment, search of optimal selection of equipment and its installment, etc. One will hardly think about furniture in connection with "system integrator". And this is wrong, for studio furniture plays an important role in formatting broadcasting and playback studio, edit room or other production TV unit. Qualitron Company understands it perfectly and offers the consumer studio furniture of own manufacture.

What are the advantages of Qualitron furniture? The matter is that manufacturing different studio furniture is performed by the company in the network of concrete project, meaning, practically, custom design manufacturing. In other words, in the stage of project development there performed adjustment of the future equipment with its future area. This means development of communication schemes and drafts of production furniture, designed for concrete areas and equipment. Thus, suggested furniture does not have any analogies, being Qualitron's authoring.

Now we will describe in details the furniture of Qualitron Company. Of course, as the company performs exclusive development of products, it is not possible to give any classification of concrete models. There is a line of already produced and successfully exploited samples, some of which will be highlighted here.

Surely, video consoles go first. They may be various: starting from traditional consoles, designed for functionally full linear rooms, and ending on modern ones, oriented for digital non-linear edit.

Video consoles have several configurations:

• bend table, supported by two sidecar-racks, one containing record and playback equipment, the other - edit controller's system and effects' units. Audio control, controller's keypad, audio and video monitors are located on the table. Shelf for additional equipment is available;
• bend table, supported by the legs at one side, and two sidecar-racks, having the same purpose like in the first variant, at another side. Two monitors are fixed obliquely on the table. There is monitor stand for video display and sound control devices in back of the table;
• traditional straight console with equipment*(video tape recorders, computer/controller monitors), obliquely installed at countertop level and shelf for audio and video monitors. Such console was built, for example, for edit system of Discreet Company;
• large bend console, designed for two persons: director and editor. It contains table, several sidecars, shelf, and rack for video and other equipment (controller, mixer, decoder, etc.), and also shelf for monitors, located under the table;
• various variants for broadcasting rooms, consisting of video consoles, racks, and monitor stands.

As for structure of this furniture, it represents combination of strong steel carcass with finishing panels made out of special plywood with decorate covering. Materials, used for manufacturing finishing panels, are characterized by high quality, strength and long service life. They meet such special requirements as fire safety, mechanic and temperature effects stability, and good physical configuration.

In conclusion of short review od Qualitron studio furniture it is worth mentioning that its samples are installed in operating rooms of Finnish broadcasting YLE company, Mosfilm, Kremlin TV studio, RenTV channel, and this list is not complete.
