Manufacturing special furniture is one of the directions of Pro Light International Company's activity. Pro Light Company furniture

nonstandard group - non-linear universal edit, hardware/software systems, broadcasting radio stations, acoustic windows, doors for on-air areas and studios, racks with custom completion with shelves and boxes.

Video editing table

All furniture is manufactured out of either wood chipboard covered with wearproof laminate of any color or precious types of wood. If necessary, there is a possibility of changing number of holes in countertop, cutting in with any control panels, completing furniture with lighting units.

Let us view the standard group taking video edit table as an example. The table's surface is made of 16 mm wood chipboard, strengthened by 12 mm plywood and covered with 1.5 mm plastic. The countertop's edge employs border profile plastic of 32 mm width, which prevents the edge from mechanic damages. Two-level countertop allows arranging monitors lower the main level, which makes operating more convenient. Commutation cable channels (connectors) are installed under the countertop. The countertop is installed at two sidecars whose sidewalls employ metallic slide rails for 19" standard equipment of 15U height. At user option, sidecars may employ in-out boxes. Countertop is squared shaped in its standard variant.

Public opinion of professionals in various fields of activity stays a basis for development of Pro Light company manufacture. This also refers to manufacture of coffers. One of main drawbacks of professional coffers was their big weight. Consequently, for coffers manufacturing Pro Light Company has replaced usually used plywood with new material - 7 mm cellular plastic. For products that still use plywood they replaced its outer layer with color PVC laminate, which allows diversifying coffers' appearance.

Selection of rollers, locks' fastenings, connection profile and other fittings of Adam Hall (Germany) and Penn Fabrication (Great Britain) production is based on exploitation reliability and optimal lifting capacity of these products. Modern life rhythm requires professional to be mobile and quick, and this is possible only when everything is in the way. Sound engineer may pack great amount of various cables, the necessary cable being at the very bottom. Editor may take lots of instruments and accessories to shooting area. And again it is difficult to reach the necessary thing. The reason is that both professionals use coffers in the form of box. The problem may be solved with the help of Profi rack, offered by Pro Light, that contains sufficient number of boxes. Sound engineer or editor would have quickly found the necessary unit in the rack.

In manufacture of racks there used birch plywood of 6 or 9 mm, covered with varnish or PVC laminate of different color, and also Finnish plywood, sodden with moisture-resistant bakelite tars, or 7 mm cellular plastic.

Standard racks are divided into several groups:

Pro Light's rack

mobile (tour) one-, two-, and three-cover racks with wheeled platform. Base completion: two covers, two side hands, and four locks; up to 10U (inclusive). If the height is 12U and more, four side hands and eight locks are installed. Wheels and rails for equipment fastening are ordered with consideration of devices type and weight. Standard model of the rack have standard depth from 420 mm;
studio (installment) racks without covers. Base completion: no covers, hands, and locks, Legs are made of rubber, hands are slotted. Wheels and fastenings for equipment are ordered additionally;
racks, employing shock tools. Base completion of shock absorbing rack with two covers: steel amortization frame with slide rails for 19" equipment, two side hands and four locks; up to 10U height (inclusive). If the height is 12U and more, four side hands and eight locks are installed. Shock absorbers may have different hardness depending on rack composition and the devices it contains.

Transportation case

Transportation coffers and cases are manufactured individually by preliminary customer's draft. Cases and coffers are glued inside with foam rubber or polyethylene foam. They cut out lodgements from foam rubber and glue them under equipment, which increases transportation safety. The products' rigid framework is made of aluminium profile. Steel angle covers provide additional strength. Cut-in locks and hands do not come out the coffer's dimension, which is very important at transportation. Wheels are fixed on removable platforms. Two of four wheels are equipped with brake (at user option), and the diameter of the wheels is within the band of 50.300 mm. Wheels are subdivided also by maximum loading that varies within 50.250 kg per a wheel. Inner partitions may be made individually both out of plastic and of plywood, covered with foam rubber. In case of serial order, plastic lodgement form, considering equipment peculiarities, is produced.
