There are two main approaches for equipping studio with specialized furniture. One can select ready standard variant and configure it out of module components in catalogue. In this case, user will have to make sure that the furniture, available in catalogue, may not only contain all existing equipment, but also satisfy a range of technical requirements. The requirements are the following:

  • technical and exploitation characteristics of equipment. Unfortunately, many breakages of expensive devices are caused by violation of their temperature mode or irregular loading arrangement of heavy components, built in the tower. In order to avoid this it is necessary to define the right way of equipment arrangement (on the table, in the rack, on the shelf, etc.) and also the method of cooling. Besides, there are control devices that are to be cut in the countertop, owing to their structural peculiarities and functionality. Such installment requires additional preparing of setup area;
  • dimensions and peculiarities of the area with accounting future equipment assembling works. It is worth mentioning that technological furniture must be arranged effectively, with usage of all space area of operating room (that often is limited). During the arrangement one must consider, for example, position of cable channels, windows, doors, and also materials and elements of inner covering, etc.;
  • design, ergonomics, and functionality of construction. The important thing is level of workplace's ergonomics, convenience and accessibility of equipment, taking into account man's psychophysiological peculiarities. And of course, one must remember that labor productivity and even company's image depend on good and fine design.

In case of foreign furniture ordering, it is necessary to consider two- or three-month delivery period and price level. Taking into account all stated above, one can imagine all the difficulties he may experience when selecting this or that type variant for technically difficult studios, for instance, on-air rooms. That's why custom furniture ordering is often more optimal. In this case, both the customer needs and the furniture's satisfying technical requirements are provided. All production cycle may be divided into the following stages:

  • specialist visits you for consultation, metering, and working up requirements specification;
  • working up the draft with scheme of equipment arrangement in 3D graphics, after approval of which furniture is being manufactured in 7...15 workdays time period;
  • ready furniture is delivered to and assembled in point of destination.

Ovako offers both type and nonstandard furniture variants, manufactured by custom projects, to TV broadcasting and audio and video production studios.

The furniture has the following functional classification:

  • vertical racks and accessories;
  • tables for edit and multimedia systems;
  • tables for on-air studios;
  • mobile racks;
  • systems for videotape storing (mobile and stationary).

Vertical racks with standard inner 19" dimension are manufactured in floor, desk, and built-in variants. Height is measured in Unit, which makes 44 mm. Standard racks feature 6...45U height, and 380/460 mm depth for audio equipment and 600/800 mm for video equipment.

Racks may be completed with the following accessories: various fastening elements, doors, cooling panels, decorative caps, etc.

Table for NLE studio
All type variants of edit and multimedia tables represent construction, designed for one working place, containing one- or multi-level countertop with varying metallic carcass. Levels may be stationary, removable, sliding, and also the may be regulated by height and angle of incline. Nonstandard (custom) developments allow combining several workplaces into one complex decision. Many table constructions use prefabricated module steel carcass.

The construction's peculiarities are as following:

  • the furniture is capable of high mechanical loads;
  • carcass may be in done in a variant of 380...800 mm depth rack, allowing installing both audio and video equipment (fastening stationary shelves directly to carcass is also available);
  • there is a possibility of maximum natural air circulation, which reduces essentially necessity of forced cooling the devices;
  • all furniture provides arrangement of both equipment and cable setting with easy access to any of their section;
  • shockproof powder enamels of different colors, covered with polyurethane varnish for better wear resistance, is used as carcass's finishing;
  • dimensions of modules are not limited (each product is designed individually).

Coverings, made out of afterforming Italian plastic, are edged and feature the following characteristics:

  • scratch stability, high rigidity and wear resistant;
  • heat resistance;
  • good mechanical strength;
  • low sorptive capability;
  • environmental safety;
  • rich color range.

Control equipment may be cut into countertop. By customer option, precious woo types may be used as finishing materials.

Mobile racks, employing metallic carcass, are produced both in shelf and vertical variants. All constructions are equipped with wheel supports, designed for necessary loading, and brake caps.

Systems for videotape storing, in addition to stationary ones, designed as stand, are also manufactured in sliding variant. Transportation of steel stands is performed with the help of rails of the section or wall profile. Similar system is capable of taking big loads owing to rigid joint of sections into the packet. Peculiarities of the construction, as well as its universality, allow optimal usage of existing space for storing maximum value of material. Manufacturing of the systems bases on development allowing creating system in any areas for videotapes of any formats.

The systems are developed individually. Optimal set of components (sections' dimension, number of sections in packet) is figured on the basis of requirement specifications. After that, look of the area with the arranged storing systems of this or that type is presented in 3D graphics. Many color variants are available.
