“Almi” Company is the Russian manufacturer of outfit for different equipment. Transportation

For transportation the rucksacks with rigid plastic skeletons, semi-rigid transport cases and transport covers are made. Rucksacks are intended for maintenance of the maximal safety of transported equipment, from the best side they have proved to be in campaigns and expeditions. Rucksacks “Almi” are designed in such manner that contains in themselves cameras and accessories to them.

Semi-rigid transport cases Beta and C are used in city conditions and for business trips. They the same as also rucksacks, assume joint transportation of cameras and accessories.

Transport cover Body Guard is one of new products of “Almi”. It was initially projected for transportation of the camera in city conditions. However compactness of a cover has allowed applying it also for transportation of the equipment in inter-city transport — in airplanes and trains where such equipment is not checked in baggage.

There are semi-rigid cases of waist and hand-held carrying for household and small size cameras.

For protection of cameras in unfavorable environmental conditions the operational covers RO with a pocket for rain cape are developed. These covers are intended for daily use, including shootings at small drizzle.

Work under a rain

At shootings under a rain including down-pour, rain covers Teta are used. A model range of rain covers is developed for all kinds of cameras, including stationary and studio.

Covers are made of a waterproof material; seams are sealed by special tape that allows shooting at rainy weather within many hours. Covers were tested by several month shootings.

Operation in winter

Winter covers of the “Polar bear” (BM) series are intended for operation at low temperatures and sleet. They have perfectly proved itself in polar conditions at temperature down to -40°C, but it is not the limit. Winter covers protect from cold and snow not only cameras, but also hands of operators.

Each cover is completed with recycled chemical thermo elements which maintain up to 1000 running cycles. The cover also may be completed with the electric heating elements working from the accumulator or an onboard network of the automobile (connection through a cigarette lighter jack).

Winter covers are developed for all types of cameras, including studio.

Work in deserts

If the film crew should work in a desert, with the increased contents of a dust or sand suspension in air, under the scorching sun — here deserted covers Sand Off will help. This is one more new development of company “Almi”. Sand Off are made from a waterproof fabric of sand color with the sealed seams. The design of a cover is provided to maximum protect the equipment from penetration of sand and dust inside. Sand color protects the equipment from heating under direct solar rays and provides its masking.

Outfit for lighting equipment

The outfit for lighting equipment can be divided into the following conditional groups: outfit for joint transportation of lighting devices and tripods; outfit for separate transportation of devices and tripods; outfit for lamps.

Outfit for joint transportation of lighting devices and tripods

Representatives of this group are covers of LC-DSC and LC-Diva Lite lines, developed by companies “Almi” and Dedo Weigert Film. Covers are provided with partitions for lighting devices and tripod racks. They assume joint transportation of transformers, ballasts and cables.

Outfit for separate transportation of lighting devices and tripods

The complete set consists from cover and roll. Lighting devices and accessories are placed inside cover. Tripod racks are placed in the roll.

Outfit for lamps

Given outfit includes rigid covers of Box 7 series for seven lamps KinoFlo in length of 600 mm and heat-resistant covers for hot lamps.

Outfit for tripods

This group of products consists from rigid transport covers of TC series for heavy tripods, soft transport covers of TB series for lighter tripods, rolls for several light tripods racks (from two to four). Tripods in covers are transported in assembling with a head. The separate is the product Tripod Shoulder Strap & Head Cap which is the complete set for the mobile film crews, and consisting of cover on tripod head and shoulder strap.

Wardrobe trunks for complete sets of audio equipment AC are intended for transportation and maintenance of complete sets of the audio equipment ready to operate: mixer, tape recorder, radio microphones, microphone trap, headphones, spare batteries, cables. The wardrobe trunk is completed with a rain cape, transported on a shoulder or a wrist.

Wardrobe trunks of MC and AC series are intended for convenient operation of audio mixers and audio recorders accordingly. Access to any parts of the equipment and opportunity of operation with radio microphones are provided. Wardrobe trunks are completed with rain capes.

The cover for microphone MH is necessary for convenient transportation of hand microphones on the wrist belt.

It is necessary to consider the covers for radio microphones in more detail. The design of covers WMP has been developed together with broadcasting company DiXi. Their purpose is in transportation and storage of complete sets of radio systems consisting of a microphone, transmitter, receiver and necessary accessories; providing of joint storage of the complete sets of receiver and transmitter adjusted each other. It is especially necessary for simultaneous operation of some sets of such equipment.

The line of WMP covers includes products for all possible complete sets of radio microphone systems:
