D.A.S. Audio Company is producing the professional equipment for audio amplifying during more than thirty years.

Not so long ago the D.A.S. designers have designed a new series of compact monitors D.A.S. Audio, named Monitor. Monitors of this series are designed for application there where qualitative linear display of an audio signal is required.

Products of Monitor series combine accuracy of sound reproduction, graceful design and reliability which the good reputation to D.A.S. Audio Company have brought.

Passive broadband studio monitors Monitor 6/Monitor 8 are assembled on the basis of 6.5" or 8" low-frequency speaker and 0.75" aluminum dome twitter. The diameter of the low-frequency speaker coil is 1.5", and of the high-frequency coil — 0.75" or 1".

Capacity (based on two-hour test) is 100 W for Monitor 6 and 125 W for Monitor 8. Axial sensitivity is 44 Hz to 40 kHz (Monitor 8 — 38 Hz to 33 kHz). Nominal sound pressure is 85 dB in a peak for Monitor 6 and 89 dB for Monitor 8. Directivity is 125° in horizontal direction and 105° in vertical direction (120°×95° for Monitor 8). Nominal resistance is 8 Ohm.

The case is made from WPC. The phase inverter is located on back wall of the box. On the bottom wall of a box two fixing bolts are located. On the front panel the demountable lattice fitted by acoustically transparent material is attached.

Monitors of this series are intended for use in sound recording studios and translation as monitors of the near and medium zone.
