Samson Company produces various kinds of the equipment for sound quality monitoring, including for application in TV production and broadcasting.

Studio amplifiers

This group of amplifiers is not provided with fans for compulsory cooling that will allow to avoid the unwanted noise at their operation. Cooling is made by radiator which is located on the back panel. Parameters of studio amplifiers are given in the table.

For amplifier Servo 4060 the following modes of operation are possible:

• Four channels;
• Two channels of the increased capacity (with two channels in one bridge);
• One channel of the increased capacity (subwoofer) plus 2 channels.

Optionally the amplifier can be completed with attachment Samson DS70 for use as transmitting system 70Vx25 Wx4 channels.

Headphones

Headphones RH600 are characterized by high quality drivers with sensitive diaphragm 40 mm, neodymium magnet and the complex circuit that provides high quality of sounding. The open design with special acoustic porous material provides clean, transparent sound and comfortable listening with the lowered sound pressure upon ears. A wide and equal dynamic range 20 Hz…22 kHz gives exact sound playback. This model is provided with self-regulating design; therefore the headphones always suit to the head of listener by size. An input connector is mini-jack plus an adapter to standard ¼" jack. Impedance value is equal to 32 Ohm.

Model RH300 is provided with semi-open design and specially designed structure providing qualitative listening, without tiring of the listener. A wide dynamic range and equal range of frequency 20 Hz…22 kHz are well suited for various conditions. Headphones are equipped with standard converters with neodymium magnets. An input connector is mini-jack, but due to applied adapter on ¼" jack RH300 can operate with any audio device. Impedance value is equal to 32 Ohm.

RH100 is the product with the newest design and the first class converters with neodymium magnets. These headphones are good both for studio, and for domestic conditions. A range of frequencies — 20 Hz…22 kHz. Due to applied ¼" gilt adapter the RH100 can function with any audio device. Impedance value is equal to 64 Ohm.

PH60 are light headphones for personal listening in the stereo mode. This model is colored by transparent-blue color. Special drivers Mylar with magnets Ferrite provide a powerful, open sound. A wide dynamic range and equal range of frequency 20 Hz…22 kHz are good for sound listening from digital devices: CD and minidisk players.

High-quality closed headphones Ch70 are equipped with speakers 40 mm with neodymium magnets. Specially designed structure provides the qualitative listening which is not tiring for the listener. A range of frequency — 20 Hz…22 kHz. An input connector is mini-jack.

The latest achievement of Samson Company is headphones CH700. The crystal-clear sound is provided due to qualitative 40-mm speakers (neodymium magnet). A wide dynamic range 20 Hz…22 kHz allows to apply CH700 to any type of operation with any music. An output connector is mini-jack (adapter on ¼" jack).

Q5 Splitter

For connection of several headphones to one signal source the company produce splitter Q5, providing with small size and the excellent audio features, being one of most popular Samson devices. It provides the maximal output signal of each channel without impairment of an audio signal. This device must be at each sound recording or broadcasting studio in sight.

To features of the device it is necessary to attribute the compact (half of 19" rack width) five-channel stereo amplifier for the headphones, providing the output level up to 500 mV on each channel, individual level volume control on each channel, symmetric stereo output, allowing to connect some Q5 together, the general switch mono/stereo, ¼" symmetric inputs and the general adjustment of an input level.

In assortment of firm Samson there are also monitors, both active and passive.

Two passive monitors Resolv-65 provides power 75 W. Columns are equipped with 6.5" low-frequency speakers, 1" high-frequency speakers with neodymium magnets and passive crossover.

Two active monitors of medium field Resolv-65a are provided with output power 75 W for LF (6.5" speakers) and 25 W for HF (1" speakers with neodymium magnets).
