Topic of this article is the LCD-panels of Marshall Electronics provided not only for the picture control, but also for audio control by the built-in audio monitors and meters of the audio signal level.

V-R71PA-SDI

Model V-R71PA-SDI — this panel is 3U, provided for installation in 19" rack. It has many features and operational flexibility. The panel has through-pass SDI-, S-Video and composite inputs and operates in 16:9 or 4:3 mode. Four audio channels may be connected through path SDI, AES/EBU or analog symmetric (connector XLR). The simultaneous visual control of levels of all four audio channels is provided with four light-emitting diode indicators, while one of the chosen audio pairs by means of two-channel sound stereo monitors. Use of the digital amplifier of class D by 5W/ channel allows to reproduce a high-quality sound. Heat emission of audio amplifying path is equal practically to zero. Other features of the device are the following: automatic recognition of NTSC/PAL standard (on composite and S-Video inputs), the built-in color-bar generator, control of volume, color, contrast, saturation and luminance. The rotary mechanism allows turning of the panel up to 90°. The model is supplied with a power supply unit and maintenance instruction.

V-R71PA-SDI LCD panel

This model is 7.9" active LCD-monitor made in rack with automatic recognition of NTSC/PAL system and four separate audioinputs. The videosection has two through-pass composite inputs and one S-Video input. Four audiochannels are connected through symmetric XLR-inputs and have a through-pass output for each channel. The simultaneous visual control of all four audiochannels is provided with use of light-emitting diode indicators. On each of two built-in sound monitors can possible to submit any of four audiochannels and the chosen channel is highlighted by number in the separate numerical display. Full control of color, saturation, contrast, and luminance is made on the screen menu. The device is supplied with a power supply unit and maintenance instruction.

V-R81PA LCD monitor

The features are the following:

This model is distinguished with the constructive decision — during transportation the 15" monitor is placed in sliding shelf by height 1U only. Safety transportation is provided by special lock. For the greater universality the monitor is equipped with inputs: composite, S-Video, XGA, and interfaces for connection of various videosources also. For the stereo sound control the monitor is equipped with the built-in loudspeakers too.

V-RD151P monitor

The features are the following:
