Controllers from DNF Controls

The DNF Controls Company for a long time and successfully makes the controllers for controlling wide range of equipment used in sphere of TV production and broadcasting. With occurrence and a wide circulation of video servers and disk recorders realizing the function of slow motion, DNF Controls has produced the controllers and for these devices.

Due to expanded menus of settings the ST300-SSMT controller allows to configure this device under those tasks which are actual today. An opportunity of installation of playback speed of replies, memorization of a necessary point by pressing of one key, memorization of the last used playback speed of reply, on/out of the frosting of the last frame under playback — this is the list of key opportunities of this controller.

Basic features of the ST300-SSMT are the following:

• Control by one or two two-channel disk recorders (1 channel for recording, 1 channel for playback) or by two or four VTRs;
• Range of change of playback speed for jog/shuttle: -200…+200% from nominal;
• Range of change of smooth adjustment of the reply speed for T-bar: 0…200% from nominal;
• Keeping up to 100 editing marks on the channel (400 marks in all);
• Pre-roll 00:00:00:01…01:00:00:00;
• Call of an edit mark according to this mark number;
• Choice of the previous or subsequent edit mark by the Next Cue and Last Cue keys;
• Creation of an edit mark by manual introduction of a time-code value;
• Transition in a necessary place of a scene by manual introduction of a time-code value;
• Editing of a time-code value of edit marks;
• Keeping of edit marks and working installations under supply switch out;
• Size is 300×150 mm.

The DMAT-O Sports controller allows to realize not only the slowed down replies during direct translation but also to reproduce a material under the schedule which included replies of the most interesting moments. Support of various protocols (Odetics, MAV555) allows working with the majority of video servers in the record/playback mode.
