Expanded possibilities of DSR-PD170

Though the new compact video camera (camcorder) Sony DSR-PD170 by DVCAM format, as its predecessor DSR-PD150, provided by fixed lens, executed with camera as a single whole, its optical possibilities can be greatly increase. For this Sony Company produced the TV-converter VCL-HG1758 and wide-angle converter VCL-HG0758.

TV-converter VCL-HG1758 with multiplicity 1.7x allows to extend the maximum focal length of the lens. In other words, under its mounting it will be possible to shoot the more remote objects, which without use the converter were got in frame too small. VCL-HG1758 is carried out from high-quality glass and is supplied by cartridge clip with thread by diameter 58 mm. In kit of the supply of this accessory the transport case and lids for both sides of the converter are included.

The wide-angle converter VCL-HG0758 with multiplicity 0.7x increases the angle of the field of vision of the lens of the camera. It is also supplied by mounting thread by diameter 58 mm and is delivered in case and with protective lid.

It is necessary to note that both converters can be used together not only with camcorder DSR-PD170, but also with DSR-PD150 and DCR-VX2000 models (the miniDV format).
