The ELTI company (Slovenia) is produced the wide range of low-power repeaters (gap filler) for digital TV broadcasting in DVB-T standard. The power of produced units is within the range from 0.5 to 250 W. These units were designed in accordance with ETSI standard EN 300744 and allow increasing the covering area of the digital TV terrestrial broadcasting networks.

The following units are included in the production line:

• DTL 0,5W-5W;
• DTL 10W-25W;
• DTL 50W;
• DTL 100W;
• DTL 250W.

The key features of ELTI repeaters are following:

• Possibility to install in standard 19" rack;
• Module design;
• Wide range of the output power;
• Availability of broadband solid-state power amplifier, produced according to LD-MOS technology;
• Possibility of functioning in single- (SFN) or multi-frequency (MFN) network;
• Availability of the remote control and telemetry ETRC-ELTI.

DTL 0,5W-5W repeater

The ELTI 100W DVB-T power amplifier consists of four GaAs amplifying modules and of four LD-MOS modules; moreover, in each of them two powerful transistors was installed. All modules are connected to splitters/combiners of the Wilkinson type.

Monitoring of each module is provided individually by measuring and checking unit. The power amplifier DVB-T is connected with RS-485 interface to the general system of the monitoring and control. Cooling is provided by two ventilators with controlled speed of rotation.

Power supply of the amplifier is provided by main 230 V line. Built-in power supply unit converts the variable network voltage in constant 12 V (three outputs) and 32 V, which supply the output transistors.

The amplifier 100W DVB-T is characterized by “soft” start, has a function ALC (automatic level control) and is provided by protection circuits from overloading, reflected power and overheating.
