Optibase card for MPEG-coding/decoding

The family of the cards for MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and Dolby Digital coding and decoding provide stream broadcasting and a digital mediadata playback.

MPEG MovieMaker 100S Xpress and MPEG MovieMaker 100S Plus

MPEG-1 coder with analogue input (composite and S-Video) and multi-server support is intended for broadcasting at IP-networks, as well as for remote education, control, observations and content creation in the area of content production. This unit provides the video streaming (with QSIF and SIF resolution) from 150 kbit/s to 3 Mbit/s (Xpress) or up to 5 Mbit/s (Pro), high stability, quality and necessary synchronizing. Optionally the software is completed for stream MPEG ComMotion Pro broadcasting and the sofrware for control applications MPEG Composer 200.

MPEG MovieMaker 200 200S Basic/ Networker/Publisher

One-channel MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 coders MPEG MovieMaker 200/200S Basic are intended for video delivery and such applications for digital TV-production, as loading the material on video servers, the realization of the content insertions etc. The coders support the high resolution video (up to FD-1) and datastream up to 5 Mbit/s under MPEG-1 compression and up to 10 Mbit/s MP@ML under MPEG-2 compression (besides, there is function VBR that is a variable stream rate, changing in real-time). The units are completed by software for control of MPEG Composer Starter/200 and MPEG ComMotion Pro for video compositing and stream broadcasting (optionally).

MPEG MovieMaker 200/200S Networker are intended for applications of stream broadcasting on IP- and ATM-networks, WebTV, remote education, video observation. These MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 coders support the different resolution of video (up to FD1) and possibility of the simultaneous use of several cards, provide the send rate up to 5 Mbit/s for MPEG-1 and up to 10 Mbit/s for SP@ML/MP@ML MPEG-2 as well as low delay, and possess by high-quality analogue (the composite, S-Video) videointerfaces and asymmetrical audiointerfaces. They are completed by control software for MPEG Composer Starter/200 and MPEG ComMotion Pro (optionally) intended for video compositing and delivery.

The coders MPEG MovieMaker 200/200S Publisher MPEG-1/MPEG-2 and Dolby Digital are intended for using in TV-broadcasting, including satellite transmission, as well as for making of high-quality content for TV and DVD. They provide the video coding in real-time at different resolutions (up to FD1), as well as send rate up to 5 Mbit/s for MPEG-1 and up to 15 Mbit/s MP@ML MPEG-2 and 50 Mbit/s ML@422P MPEG-2, support the VBR function. Besides, they are equipped by composite, S-Video and SDI video interfaces, as well as by symmetrical/asymmetrical and AES/EBU audio interfaces. Each coder is completed by MPEG Composer 200 software packages for applications of coding data control, card for previewing/listening of video/audio, software for spreading of video and MPEG ComMotion Pro stream broadcasting (optionally).

There are MPEG-2 coders with analogue (composite, S-Video, YUV) and digital interfaces, providing a high-quality playback of digital video on video PAL/NTSC monitors and computer VGA-monitor. They are an optimum platform for use into DirectShow-based applications (video through satellite or video through ATM). They allow to take MPEG-video on PCI-bus, to convert it in CCIR-656 streams converted in analogue signal for video reproducing in window or for full-screen imaging. They have the composite and S-Video outputs, support the FD-1, HD-1 and SIF resolution. This is a possibility to install several decoders in one PC.
