TV signals level measurers are the main instruments for installers and adjusters of the equipment designed for TV receiving within cable networks. These devices are necessary for fast monitoring of signals transmitted over the cable network as well as for problems diagnostics appeared in cable exploitation process. Price of these devices presented on Russian market by well known foreign manufacturers is pretty high which sufficiently breaks their spread. Besides, only part of them is certified for use in Russia.

An alternative in this class of measuring equipment is the devices developed and produced by Russian companies.

TSV-03, -05, -07 TV signals level measurers manufactured by Cable networks Company (Saint Petersburg, Russia) are designed for receiving TV system adjustment, as well as for monitoring and checking equipment within cable TV networks. Devices are certified for performing such measures; they allow investigate frequency specter of a radio signals and perform measuring TV signals characteristics: level, S/N ratio, V/A career ratio. There is a mode for automated levels measuring at user selectable frequencies. Price for the devices is sufficiently lower than for existing foreign analogs.

TSV-03 device may have b&w 16" monitor or color 17" LCD matrix. Monitor’s screen shows TV picture or a specter of RF signals investigated including those of satellite band. Operational information is being displayed on a symbol LCD monitor (two lines by 16 symbols). Measurer can be made without satellite band also (according to user’s desire). It allows decreasing expenses for measuring devices purchase.

Especially for exploitation of multi-channel cable TV networks with return channel the light and compact TSV-05 device was designed which doesn’t have a monitor and is equipped with “Video” and “Audio” outputs.

Compact TSV-07 measuring device

TSV-07 device is dedicated to personnel serving subscriber’s cable TV networks and it serves for fast detection signals levels deviation from nominal values. It allows fast monitoring signals levels for 64 channels in 20 measuring points with storing measuring results in device’s memory. There are two areas of user’s channels for two frequency ranges.
