New videocassette recorders ProfessionalDV of The JVC Company

Equipment of ProfessionalDV format of the JVC Company today feel significant part of the market of professional video equipment and is applied with success in cinematograph, studio work, at out of doors filming of different events and in Internet broadcasting. Due to optimal price and quality ratio, widespread and low cost of medium the series of ProfessionalDV products has wide world demand.

In new line of products of ProfessionalDV series had entered BR-DV6000 and BR-DV3000 videocassette recorders. In all of the facilities of this line perfected video transport is applied, which allows working with standard and miniDV-cassettes without adapter and to record in DV format to DVCAM cassettes. In construction of mechanism is applied single-shaft drive, which provides more reliable change of tape rewind modes. The double control of tape voltage on both rollers provides it more stable moving. The active head cleaner acts when changing of rewinding mode in modes of the most possible damage of magnetic covering when changing of its temperature. The mechanism of head cleaner operates when loading and eject of videocassette. Both cleaners function soundless. The mechanism is equipped with system of average hand unloading of cassette.

Both models are equipped with IEEE 1394 interface and work in PAL and NTSC standards. Sound recording is done in one of chosen modes: two-channeled 16-bit with frequency sampling of 48 kHz or in four-channeled 12-bit with frequency sampling of 32 kHz. When rewinding the speed of tape transportation increases in 100 times and in viewing mode in 20 times in relation to nominal at reproduction. All devices are equipped with the reading facility and generator of temporary code SMPTE/EBU.

BR-DV3000 VTR

BR-DV3000E videocassette recorder can function in horizontal as well as in vertical position, allowing to economy working space near the system of nonlinear editing and to reproduce video from the cassettes of DVCAM format. Due to 12 V power BR-DV3000E can be applied directly on the place of filming or en rout. It has the set of functions of professional digital device. Videocassette recorder has control interface RS-422A for the use as master-device while editing. The signal of temporary code given to DV-input can be recorded to the tape. Different methods of interpolation for freeze frames and indicator of sound signal for confirmations of presence of signal on input/output are provided. On front panel there is a strip line indicator of sound signal level. VCR has sizes 174×66×260 mm and weight of only 4.5 kg.

BR-DV6000 VTR

BR-DV6000E videocassette recorder is equipped with 2.5" LCD display for viewing in one of three modes: Only image, image plus additional information or information only. Equipment of this device with big set of signaling and controlling interfaces allows integrating it in any system of linear and nonlinear editing and connect almost with any professional analogous and digital equipment easily. As options this videocassette recorder can be set with board of symmetrical sound entries or outputs or network SA-DV6000 set with movie scanner function for viewing of video fragments on PC through computer network.
