Reporter’s Radio Extender Teleview Reporter is Wireless Digital System of Video Signal Transfer “Camera -MTU”

The system is assigned for conditions when special condition for video and sound transfer from camera on MTU has efficiency and absence of bothering cables. Such situations usually appear on stadiums and concerts.

Offered digital information provides wireless transfer of video and sound on the distance of 100…1000 m (depending on concrete conditions). System consists of following functional blocks:

• modulator;
• transmitter;
• receiver;
• transmitting and receiving antennas;
• telescopic bodies;
• power source.

Modulator, combined with transmitter fastens on battery module of video camera, or might have autonomous fastening, for example, on the vest of video operator. Power supply of the transmitter is done from accumulator of 12 V voltage, fixed of belt or vest of operator. Power of the transmitter is 200 mW, operating frequency diapason is 2.2…2.4 GHz. Transmitting antenna with circular direction diagram in horizontal plane and screen set directly on modulator. Signal, coming from video camera codes into MPEG-2 flow with speed of 13.5 Mbit/sec and FEC=½. Method of QPSK modulation is used. Operation in frequency diapason 2.2…2.4 GHz, rather low loading by other transmitting facilities allow getting rid of additional radio noises. Noise-immunity is provided by coding as well as by special receiver, which provide distributed receiving from four antennas. Due to antennas distribution and multi-channel receiver receiving quality improves and zone of operator’s activity increases. Receiver is done for 19" rack mount and get can electrical power supply from mains of alternating current of 220 V as well as from source of continuous current of 12 V voltage. Receiving antennas are distributed on telescopic bodies providing height of antennas lifting up to 4 m.

Use of Teleview Reporter systems allow to enlarge field of MTU application and decrease time of preparing to filming of different activities.
