Mobile multi-camera TV station by “Era” company is a new series of finished decisions
By Alexander Tokarenko
“Era” mobile multi-camera TV station (MMTS) is a powerful tool of TV production. Small and multifunctional stations are designed for multi-camera shooting both in and out studio conditions with synchronous and post setting-up of shot material. The station bases on standard, perfected by many years of TV production, technological scheme of conducting shootings with the use of MTS and 2…8 camera channels. Ergonomic arrangement of equipment at work places, where each case-stand makes one work area, allows quick start up of MMTS without additional mastering of secondary professions by MMTS’s personnel. The adopted scheme of station’s video and sound commutation allows employing MMTS both in on-air broadcasting mode and during recording.
There are the following advantages of “Era” mobile multi-camera TV station:
- meeting wide range of technical, technological, exploitation, and economic requirements;
- great number of standard variants along with possibility of individual projecting;
- in/out studio exploitation;
- operating in on-air broadcasting as well as in record mode;
- operating with other TV stations (e. g. MTS) both in “slave” and “primary” modes;
- transportation of MMTS by any truck or dual-purpose vehicle;
- easy roll-in at any location.
Fields of application:
- sports events that are held indoors or at open sport courts containing enclosed areas (i. e. stadiums, swimming pools, cycle tracks, etc.);
- cultural and cultural-mass events (concerts, festivals, etc.) that are held indoors or at open courts containing enclosed areas in immediate proximity;
- political events, selections, press-conferences;
- as semi-constant TV broadcasting stations;
- as production studio in TV center.
First MMTS was demonstrated at TRBE’2001 exhibition. Today “Era” offers several variants of stations basing on various video cameras.
