Acoustic Rooms of StudioBox Company

The StudioBox Company (Germany) produces standardized module acoustic room for different use. Line of company's products includes rooms for studios, radio/television, musicians, scientific researches, conferences, medical care, etc.

Peculiar features of all produced production are acoustic characteristics, high manufacturability, and use of ecologically clean materials.

StudioBox acoustic cabins are build of modules-mono-blocks of 60 cm width. Mono-block construction means, that floor, walls and ceiling elements are fully produced on the factory. Installation time for acoustic cabin of standard size is 2...4 h. For assembly no sawing, drilling, or other technical work is required. Transportation, setting and moving are done unbelievable easy. Functional opportunities of components stay permanent for years to come.

Each group of mono-block is done in two layers. For formation of unit group external and internal layer are tied up with elastic clutch. Especially sorted materials allow getting good sound insulation and internal acoustics.

Internal acoustics of StudioBox cabins is mainly defined by reflection time, what is defined by absorbers and reflectors, room sizes, and windows amount.

At the mean time five types of cabins Standard, Professional, Premium, Congress, and also measuring cabins are produced.

Multifunctional Studio Box Standard cabin is a musician cabin for high accuracy of sound reproduction. It is peculiar by:

• balanced internal acoustics for any instrument;
• high level of sound insulation;
• favorable climate inside of cabin;
• various model row.

Window construction foresees double glassing of windows, using of glass of different width in 1:2 ratio, elastic cell rubber compressor. Internal glass is situated not parallel to external but under some angle.

In door construction is applied double compressor and compression lock (four-nogging) along the entire length of door.

During producing of cabin is used special estimate of internal acoustics with use of computer modeling. There are used three especially sorted absorbers and reflectors in corner configuration. Reverberation time with considering of audio specter is tuned depending on room volume or on individual project. Internal design is done with using of cloth stretched on walls and ceiling.

Microclimate inside of cabin is created with the help of ventilation system: corresponding drawing (natural ventilation), supplied with each cabin and also forced small noise ventilation with three-speed condition (30, 50 and 110 m³/h). The latter is set additionally.

Studio Box Professional is reliable classical sound cabin, which is widely used for insonification and dubbing. It differs in balanced internal acoustics for high-quality recordings, high level of sound insulation and specially adapted modules (own scientific-research developments of the company).

Studio Box Premium is best cabin in equipment line of Studio Box Company. It is created on the base of computer modeling. Many peculiarities of cabin are changing internal acoustics, high level of sound insulation and everything what is peculiar to all previous cabins.

During projecting and making of Premium model there is done special estimate of internal acoustic with the use of computer modeling. Reverberation time with considering of video specter is tuned depending on room volume or from individual project. Internal microclimate is provided by ventilation, both natural and forced.

Studio Box Congress is special mobile cabin for translator's work. It is peculiar by wood panels, balanced internal acoustics, and high level of sound insulation, favorable climate inside of cabin, fast editing, flexible configuration "doors/windows", different sizes and dressings of interior. Cabin has certificate ISO-Standard 4043.

Window construction foresees multi-layer glassing with using of glass of different width (4 and 6 mm). Elastic cell rubber is used as compressor. Internal and external glasses are set parallel.

Internal acoustic is provided by applying of double flaky MDF-panels with polished surface.
