Accessory kits for Type 4071 DPA lavaliere microphone

The acoustic properties of the DPA Type 4071 lavaliere microphone offer a number of advantages when applying it for interviews and outdoor video production (ENG/EFP), as well as for cinema scoring and TV-program voice-over work immediately during shooting. The field experiments and comparative tests have shown that in comparison with competitive models the type 4071 gives the most open, clear and natural sounding. DAK 4071-E accessory kit

This kit is made for ENG/EFP use, when the microphone is allowed to be visible. The kit is delivered in a sturdy, hard case with a transparent lid. It leaves room for a Miniature Microphone and one or more Connection Adapters and contains various microphone concealment fixtures including:

• The DMM0002-B is a black holder for quick and easy mounting a Miniature Microphone on the chest of a speaker. The double pin ensures maximum mounting stability and makes it possible to fit the microphone even on T-shirts and sweaters. The DMM0002-B can hold up to two Miniature Microphones by their cables or one by the housing.
• The DMM0005 is an ultra-small single pin holder (3 pcs.) for mounting a Miniature Microphone on the chest of a speaker in a quick and easy way. The pin has a lock which ensures maximum mounting stability. It is specially designed for usage on rather thick clothes like sweaters, sweatshirts and jackets.
• The DMM0008 is a double clip specially designed for quick and easy mounting of a DPA Miniature Microphone on the chest of a speaker. When mounting the microphone on the two holes, cable noise is attenuated dramatically.
• DUA0570 - The windscreens are made of foam. The size and construction of the foam ensures that the windscreens do not attenuate the higher frequencies more than the tolerance field of the microphone frequency response and simultaneously it provides excellent protection from wind and pop-noises. The size of the windscreens make them discreet in all applications.
• DUA0571 - Miniature Windjammer for use with 4071 in heavy wind. The windjammer fur coat is sewn to the mesh. This will make it totally insensitive to handling noise from any possible friction between the two materials. The presence boost of the 4071 microphone will be virtually unaffected by the windjammer, however the high frequency roll off will set in a little earlier (around 5 kHz).
• DUA0572 - Miniature Mesh for use with 4071, to reduce slight wind- or pop noise from a speaker's voice or any other turbulence that can cause the diaphragm to disperse.

DAK 4071-F accessory kit

The DAK 4071-F kit is made to use the type 4071 microphone in Film/TV production or voice-over work immediately at the shooting stage, when the microphone is not allowed to be visible. But this gives rise to a number of problems, particularly, increases noises caused by rubbing against clothing.

Therefore, the DAK4071-F kit has been developed specifically for solution of such problems and is delivered in a sturdy, hand case with a semi-transparent lid. It leaves room for a Miniature Microphone and one or more Connection Adapters and contains various microphone & cable concealment fixtures. The kit includes:

• ADH0001 - easy to use double-sided tape pads for the DPA Tie Pods, special foam holders to be fixed inside a tie, 10 pcs. Ensure fast, convenient and steady mounting;
• ADH0002 - specially designed and easy to use double-sided tape pads for the DMM 0009 DPA Miniature Concealers, 10 pcs;
• ADH0003 - self-adhesive tape pads for fixing the microphones at the edge of a pocket, 10 pcs;
• DMM 0009 - Miniature microphone concealer. Whenever the 4071 miniature microphone needs to be hidden on a performer, the DMA 0009 comes in useful. Simply place the 4071 in the opening on the backside of the holder. The microphone is now secured from friction noise from clothing because the microphone (including the grid) is hidden and the holder itself is smooth. The microphone concealer can be sewn into clothing by using the 4 buttonholes or it can be fixed to any cloth material using the double-sided tape pads.
• DMM0010 - Tie Pod. When an actor wears a tie, noise is unavoidable from friction between tie and shirt. A successful placement of the microphone could be in the knot of the tie with the microphone inside this soft tie pod with double-sided tape outside the pod. The holder will be fixed, the tie can be tightened around it and the microphone grid is hidden in the pod and will not pick up friction noise;
• DUA0571 - Miniature Windjammer for use with 4071 in heavy wind. The windjammer fur coat is sewn to the mesh. This will make it totally insensitive to handling noise from any possible friction between the two materials.
