VMB Dimmers

The Spanish Company VMB Espanola S.A. is the producer of high quality electron equipment, like dimmers, splitters, demultiplexers and commutators.

In VMB dimmers the technology of control of angle of shear of impulses phase, which allows to sustain short-term voltage of up to 500 V. Internal electric control is done with the help of digital micro-controllers, which are separate for each power phase, integrated in one with the help of contemporary software.

Experience in noise suppression and removal of disturbances, development of control of work temperature of dimmers method and creation of mechanic stability of electron boards and body helped VMB to develop and produce dimmers different in high quality and reliability.

The effective ventilation system allows conducting the heat away from transistors, transformers and wires. Powerful ventilator, which speed of rotation depends on internal dimmer temperature, creates transversal airflow and stabilized the temperature.

Noises, created by "common" dimmers can disturb the operation of other electric equipment, moreover they are absolutely impossible when operating with sound and TV equipment. Special filters, used by VMB not only remove the noises according to the IEC norms but also, especially, in frequency diapason of up to 20 kHz. Situation of filters in compact blocks and mechanical stabilization of body weaken vibration and noises made by the dimmer itself. When the noise level is 48 dB/m the VMB dimmers can find the widest application in any conditions.

In electron systems of control and transfer are used only digital technology what guarantees maximum accuracy. In case of incorrect connection or break of zero wire the electron protection system instantly shuts down according phases and on the front panel the indicator voltage overloading lightens.

VMB dimmers are produced in two series: Pro and Stage.

Pro Series

DS-1312 and DS-1506 models

DS dimmers

DS-Pro series was created to meet the requirements of professionals who need the equipment for application in installation of the top level. DS-Pro series included the latest development and achievements in the field of digital technologies, what provide high accuracy of work and wide application. Control of all functions is done on the front panel and all actions are shown on the display.

DS-306 and DS-312 Models

Dimmers of DS-Stage series were developed especially for professional application during tours and are different in reliability and accuracy of work. Access to all functions happens with the help of buttons on the front panel and all messages are written on the digital indicator board.
