Dimmer is the power train for the smooth brightness regulation of lamps or projectors. It represents the block structure with 4...12 channels and power of 1...5 kW on one channel, what allows choosing the necessary amount of channels. They are mainly applied theater-sight actions.

Controller is usually a device that has the build-in "chase" program, which is the switch of channels in defined order automatically or by the sound signal. Depending on the performance it is applied on the discos, on concert-sight actions (for example, for the control of optical discs) or for operation outdoors.

The control panel is assigned for the control of dimmer blocks, scanners and other "intellectual" luminariers. Depending on the performance and the task it has defined set of functional opportunities. The application area is unusually wide: from school assembly hall to the big dramatized gala-concert.
