Broadcasting equipment from Broadcast Arsenal Group Broadcast Arsenal Group produces broadcasting equipment using the most modern technologies under the license of the Italian company Elettronica Srl. CC Microtech (Novosibirsk) is the Group's base enterprise whose production facilities serially deliver solid-state TV and radio transmitters (FM) of 1 W...10 kW. Components of the leading world manufacturers (Motorola, Siemens, Philips, ATC, and others) being mostly used in the configuration, the transmitters have high technical characteristics and reliability performance. Recent developments in circuit design and manufacturing technologies of broadcasting equipment have found their realization in FM-transmitters of MIRA line. All basic details, excluding power source and power amplifier, are collected in main motherboard with the use of surface-mounting technology which made it possible to improve considerably such parameters as S/N ratio and THD. Another MIRA peculiarity is that there are no switch keys or potentiometers, with all controlling functions being realized with the help of touch-screen display, i.e. any necessary operation can be made by simple touch on a certain area of the liquid-crystal display. Power output programming depending on time of the day, remote control and parameters monitoring through cable or wireless systems, as well as high quality of transmitted stereo signal and attractive cost have made MIRA transmitters real bestsellers on TV and radio broadcasting equipment world market. Similar approach serves the basis for production of a new line of exciters and low-power TV transmitters, whose serial production starts in 2002. Fabricated with the use of surface-mounting technology, these devices have high quality and reliability performance.
TV and radio transmitters have in their configuration high quality switched power supplies that allow non-stop operation during supply-line voltage fluctuation within 176...264 V and AC frequency fluctuation within 47...63 Hz. The supplies are characterized by high performance factor, low noise and pulsation level, and are provided with effective overvoltage and overcharge protection. Broadcast Arsenal Group transmitters were developed with the use of the most progressive broadcasting technologies. All the components used have been tested in stable functioning in high temperature and voltage conditions, which made it possible to achieve high safety of the equipment. Microprocessor control block manages all most important transmitter parameters, blocks its work in case of any malfunction, and displays the unit's current state on a handy liquid-crystal display. TV transmitters amplifiers of under 3 kW operate in AB class, however special pre-compensator included in the configuration of the transmitter made it possible to get high channel linearity and to create a shared channel of display and sound signals amplification. Transmitters of over 3 kW are produced with either shared or separate channels of display and sound amplification. The system architecture provides mounting and service simplicity - practically each block can be easily removed, tested and replaced. The equipment fully complies with the world standards, and its elaborate structure allows using of powerful transmitters in much more severe conditions than those specified by the standards of many countries, with minimum preventive service required. Under the customer's request any powerful transmitter may be completed with an additional exciter and a block of automatic switching from the main system onto the redundant one as well as with an all-wave device parameters measuring system. The perspectives of TV broadcasting network being taken into consideration, all transmitters produced by Broadcast Arsenal Group can be delivered in the digital-ready configuration and, correspondingly, be used for broadcasting of DVB-T format programs without considerable expenses.
